stem4, the UK’s leading digital mental health charity, is proud to be the founder of Parent Mental Health Day (PMHD), launched in 2022. This annual campaign promotes awareness of the critical link between parents’ mental health and family wellbeing. This year, with the #ScreenSmartParenting theme, stem4 is providing resources and training to help families foster healthy digital habits and support youth mental health.
Join us on the 30th of January 2025 in creating supportive environments where young people can thrive, both online and offline.
The theme of #ScreenSmartParenting was chosen to address the growing concerns among parents and carers about the impact of digital technology on their families’ wellbeing.
Our 2025 campaign offers vital tools and training designed to help families establish healthier screen habits, manage online stress, and create positive digital environments for young people. Together, we can ensure that the digital world supports, rather than hinders, the mental health and development of children and young people.
Head to the dedicated web page here for more information on how you can get involved and for access to all of our #PMHD resources.
