Commitment to achieving Net Zero
stem4 is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050. stem4 is committed to protecting the environment by demonstrating a high standard of environmental responsibility in all our operations and minimising the environmental impacts associated with our activities and services.
Baseline emissions and current emissions
We are currently gathering data for our baseline year (2023-2024). Our emissions inventory will cover Scope 1, Scope 2, and relevant Scope 3 emissions such as employee commuting and business travel. This plan will be updated with full emissions data by December 2025.
Carbon reduction projects
stem4 has started taking actions to reduce carbon emissions, such as increasing remote working and virtual meetings, prioritising local suppliers and having a digital-first approach. Further measures will be implemented following our baseline assessment.
Declaration and sign off
This Carbon Reduction Plan was reviewed and signed off by the charity’s Trustees. It will be reviewed annually and updated as new emissions data becomes available.
