stem4 is a charity which relies entirely on donations to fund our essential work with secondary schools. We are so grateful for every single fundraising day, sponsored activity and charity event that schools are able to hold for us and are happy to provide anything we can to help. To download fundraising materials please visit our Fundraising Materials & Ideas page.
Need some inspiration, or unsure how to get your school to get involved in fundraising? Here’s how! For more information email us at education@stem4.org.uk.
Think Positive, Go Purple!
Our ‘Think Positive, Go Purple’ fundraising initiative encourages your school to take the opportunity to combine raising money with promoting wellbeing for your own pupils.
With our support, you will be able to pair fundraising activities like purple-themed mufti days or sponsored events with self-run wellbeing events such as assemblies which encourage positive thinking.
Of course, we have a wealth of resources to help you along the way, including educational resources, branded collection boxes, posters, leaflets and merchandise. To find out more, or to receive the materials you need to ‘Think Positive, Go Purple’ at your school please contact education@stem4.org.uk.
Why not make us your school or house charity of the year?
With more and more schools now choosing to focus their fundraising efforts into a year-long project, picking us as your charity of the year creates something staff, pupils and parents can all get behind, culminating in achievements and a school-charity relationship that feels genuinely worthwhile. By working together for a whole year, your school can make the most of ‘Think Positive, Go Purple’, and help as many teenagers as possible. Get in touch at education@stem4.org.uk for more information.
Youth Mental Health Day
Youth Mental Health Day is an annual day run by stem4, that aims to create awareness and start conversations around mental health. Each year we have a different theme and a fundraising challenge to see who will be stem4’s ambassador school. We would love your school to get involved. Click here to find out more about Youth Mental Health Day this year or email education@stem4.org.uk.
First Give
Local secondary schools can also support stem4 by nominating us as one of your chosen charities when taking part in the First Give philanthropic programme. If your students choose us, a member of our staff will be happy to help your students prepare their presentation and provide them with resources.
Or, if your school is further afield, you can book a Zoom call with our Education Coordinator at education@stem4.org.uk.
Raise funds through online shopping!
The school and parent community can support stem4 by signing up to easyfundraising or Give as you Live. These initiatives raise funds for us at no extra cost to you! We would be very grateful if schools would kindly share this in their newsletters – find out more.
Thank you
stem4 is truly grateful for all the support we continue to receive from schools. From fundraising at proms to organising charity football matches, to selling handmade Christmas decorations, we are delighted that these efforts have allowed schools to have fun whilst raising awareness and money to support teenage mental health at the same time.
