On the 13th October 2016 stem4 won 2 awards at the Positive Practice Awards ceremony. These are very prestigious national awards and we were thrilled to have been nominated in two categories and won both categories. We won the Digital Innovation Award for the Calm Harm App and we also won the Making a Difference Award. We would like to thank our sponsors, ambassadors, volunteers and trustees for all their support in allowing us to provide the service we currently provide. Their support has allowed us to move ahead in the digital world and have helped us to make the difference in our followers lives.
Dr Nihara Krause wins Mayor of London Prize
Dr Krause, CEO of stem4 was awarded the Mayor of London’s Community Award for the charitable work she has done through founding and delivering the message of stem4. She was given her award by Boris Johnson and Barbara Windsor at the City Hall. Speaking after the ceremony Dr Krause said ‘ I am absolutely delighted to have won this award. It’s wonderful recognition for doing something I am passionate about. I hope this award will help to raise the profile of stem4 still further in schools and in the community so that we can reach out and help even more teenagers in need’.
Wimbledon-based charity stem4 wins Raynes Park Business of the Year at Merton Business Awards 2014
stem4 wins Raynes Park Business Award at the Merton Best Business Awards 2014. They also succeeded in being a finalist in two other categories – Most Enterprising Business and Best Creative Sector. The ceremony was held at the Wimbledon All England Tennis Club on 3rd Oct 2014. stem4 were the winners of the `Most Enterprising Business Award’ 2013 and the ‘Commitment to the Community’ Award 2012. Speaking after the ceremony Dr Krause said “We are very grateful to the organisers of the Merton Awards, the Merton Chamber of Commerce and the judges for recognising the work we do in the community. We have been lucky to have won an award for each year we have been established thanks to the support we get locally. Recognition of this sort enables us to extend our services to where it’s needed.’
