We hope the conference inspires you to start the conversation about mental health at your school.

We have provided a PowerPoint Presentation (see below) for use at your school or year group assembly. A script can be found in the notes that you can read out easily, but we would love you to add the 4 tips on creating mental health awareness in your school environment, that you presented at the conference, to Slide 13. We have left you some space to add them in.

It would also be good if you could add some local signposts to point your peers in the direction of places they can get support locally –  this might include support groups, counsellors or mental health lead teachers at your school. There is a space left on Slide 14 for you to add these.

stem4 Mental Health Assembly in 7 easy steps:

1. Chat with your teacher and show them the PowerPoint Presentation.
2. Set a date to present in your assembly.
3. Let stem4 know so they can come to the assembly to support you – education@stem4.org.uk
4. Add your 4 tips for creating mental health awareness in your school environment.
5. Add some local sign posts to show your peers where to find help if they need it.
6. When presenting, remember to only read the black writing out loud – anything in red is for reference only.
7. Give yourself a pat on the back – you are a fantastic MH ambassador.
