It’s official… stem4’s Youth Mental Health Day (YMHD) 2021 is just over a month away! We hope you are excited to join us in celebrating this year’s theme: #StrideForward. Together with young people across the UK, we’ll be reflecting on how the last year has impacted our lives, and sharing personal goals that will help us to #StrideForward towards positive mental health.
From cancelled exams to university lockdowns, the past year has seen countless decisions made on behalf of young people, without their input. Placing young voices front and centre of the conversation once more, YMHD 2021 will allow young people to share the goals they want to look towards. From being able to access a counsellor in each school, to meeting a new friend each week, every young person’s goals – for the community or for themselves – will be heard.
Want to get involved? Head over to our YMHD website and download one of our information packs for all you need to get the #StrideForward message started in your school, community group (including youth groups & sports teams), or workplace. Or, simply join us on on social media on the day and share your reflections on the last year, and what goal you can set yourself to #StrideForward – our handy social media pack includes graphics and shareable templates to make this easy for you!
We can’t wait to celebrate the day together soon.
