Winter can be a tough time. The days are shorter, the nights longer, and for many young people, the season brings increased stress, anxiety, and isolation. For thousands of children and teens in the UK, these challenges are more than seasonal, they are constant, daily struggles with mental health.
Shockingly, 1 in 5 young people in the UK is living with a mental health disorder, yet only 40% receive the support they need. At stem4, we believe no young person should face these challenges alone.
This winter, we are asking for your support to ensure that every young person has access to life-saving mental health tools, wherever they are, whatever their circumstances.
A Story of Support: Real Lives, Real Impact
Take the story of Emma*, a 16-year-old student who struggled with severe panic attacks and self-harm urges. When she discovered stem4’s Clear Fear and Calm Harm apps, she finally found the support she needed at her fingertips.
Emma’s story is just one example of how your support makes a difference. Every donation helps more young people like Emma access clinically-informed, evidence-based digital tools that can literally save lives.
