We’re pleased to share that stem4 has secured support from the Wimbledon Foundation to help deliver the next phase of Clear Fear for Schools in our local community.

Clear Fear for Schools builds on the success of our award-winning Clear Fear app, translating clinically grounded Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches into accessible psychoeducation and practical resources that schools can embed flexibly alongside existing wellbeing provision. The programme is designed to strengthen whole-school wellbeing by supporting students early and at scale, rather than one pupil at a time once crisis has been reached.

With this support, we will work with local secondary schools to embed the programme across whole school communities, helping thousands of young people access evidence-based tools to manage anxiety and build resilience.

At a time when anxiety is rising and many young people face barriers to accessing support, early intervention and prevention are critical. We know that young people often want to manage their mental health independently, but don’t always know where to turn. This project responds to what we hear from schools locally: a clear need for scalable, clinically informed support that can be implemented quickly and consistently.

Clear Fear for Schools is designed to help students develop practical skills they can use in the moment, while also supporting staff with PSHE-aligned resources and guidance. Alongside school feedback and implementation learning, we will use anonymised, aggregated insights to understand reach and engagement, and to support schools to plan future support.

We’re very grateful to the Wimbledon Foundation Community Fund and The London Community Foundation for backing this work, and for helping bring preventative, evidence-based anxiety support to more young people in our local community.
