We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Amit Seyan as a Trustee of stem4, the UK’s leading digital mental health charity for children and young people.

Dr Seyan is a General Practitioner (GP) and a Partner at Robin Hood Lane Health Centre in Sutton. He brings a wealth of experience in primary care across the NHS and has keen interests in mental health, preventative medicine and healthcare technology.

Dr Seyan is also passionate about integrating exercise and movement into primary care and is dedicated to medical education, serving as a GP Trainer and Coach for newly qualified GPs. He first came across stem4 through attending one of their GP Conferences and has been recommending stem4 apps to patients ever since. Dr Seyan lives locally in Surrey with his wife and twin daughters.

Dr Amit Seyan commented:

“I am excited to be joining stem4 to support a cause that is close to my heart. Digital mental health tools will continue to play an increasingly vital role in instilling resilience and good mental health in current and future generations and I am looking forward to helping stem4 realise its ambitious plans over the years ahead.”

Dr Nihara Krause MBE, CEO of stem4, commented:

“We’re thrilled to welcome Amit on board, with his appointment coming at an important moment for stem4 and the children and young people we support. Amit’s experience as a GP bolsters stem4’s clinical expertise further and will enable the charity to continue providing accessible and relevant mental health care to over 1,000 children and young people across the UK every single day and work on enhancing our primary care offers.”
