- On Sunday September 27th, 7 enterprising young people form the ” Challenge”( a major provided of National Citizen Service , spent their day manning stem4 information stands, collecting donations and bagging shopping to raise awareness and funds for stem4.
- They were supported throughout the day by their challenge mentor Emer Clarke and members of the stem4 team,Dr Nihara Krause,Patsy Preece and Heather Bechman. The day was hugely successful with lots of people picking up leaflets and asking questions and we were delighted to have such a willing and professional young team promoting our cause.Huge thanks go to Marks and Spencer in Merton for supporting the endeavour and allowing the event to take place on their premises,(in particular to departmental Managers and Charity Co-ordinators; Sally Macdonald and Sam Hack) and the efficient and highly professional team at “The Challenge” for selecting stem4.
