We’re very excited to let you know that stem4 has been selected to participate in the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2018, the UK’s largest match funding campaign.
We will be raising money for our Head-Ed Mental Health Video project.
Prevention through education
Did you know that 50% of mental health conditions start by the age of 14 and 75% by the age of 24? *
It is established that mental health literacy in schools not only increases emotional resilience but encourages young people to make positive lifestyle changes.
stem4 has created Head-Ed, an evidence-based education resource that enables young people to develop the mental health literacy needed to support positive mental health or to ask for help at the earliest stage of a developing mental health condition.
Donations to this project will be matched for 7 days from 12pm on 27th November, #GivingTuesday. One donation, twice the impact.
What happens during the Christmas Challenge?
Donations made to our project via theBigGive.org.uk will be doubled during the campaign. If you would like to support our work this year, we highly recommend doing so during the Christmas Challenge when your donation will be doubled and make even more of a difference to us.
What do I need to do?
- Add a calendar reminder to your diary for 12pm on 27th November including this link: https://secure.thebiggive.org.uk/donation/to/66715/30260/Stem4/Mental+Health+Education+Videos
- Have your card details ready when you make your donation
Please note you must not donate before the 27th November 12pm. A clear message will be displayed to indicate when the Challenge has started and when your donation will be doubled.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org and please pass this information to anyone who you think might be interested in supporting us and having their donation doubled.
