• Thank you once more to Roundwood school  who have been fundraising madly to support STEM4 and Teenage Cancer Trust.
  • Before Christmas the school held a charity week during which each year group ran events every day such as cake sales, cinema clubs, a dance-athon, and even a sponsored blindfolded. In addition they ran a Christmas market and  grotto and held “a dress up “day. During the course of that period they raised over £1200 to be split between STEM4 and Teenage Cancer Trust. This is a fantastic achievement and they have told us that there is more to come in terms of both raising awareness and funds to include;
  • A jumbo Jigsaw of a mix of images/info and quotes from STEM4 and Teenage Cancer Trust that will cover the entire floor in the drama studio and  a pub quiz created by one of the sixth formers . In addition Mike Garbutt, head of Drama is undertaking a personal sponsored challenge  to go on Europe’s longest zip line in Wales at Easter. With the concept of personal challenges in mind the school has also dared each form group to come up with their own sponsored challenge activity which puts them out of their comfort zone in order to raise funds and awareness.Look out for the sponsored link on this page in due course;
  • We are hugley indebted to Roundwood School for the tremendous efforts made by both students and staff to support STEM4.
