Most people experience body image problems at some point in their life.

Whilst girls and women may feel pressure to have a slender figure, boys and men feel under pressure to be muscle bound. It’s hard to escape the pressure to look a particular way whether it is through the eyes of the fashion industry, peers or social media and even harder to escape the pressure of having a body others will admire as the sun comes out.

Your body isn’t the same as the weather and can’t change just to suit clothes that match a season.

So rather than becoming miserable about not meeting a fashion notion of getting your body ready for the summer, focus on healthy eating habits, exercise that enhances fitness and wellbeing, and appreciating your body for what it can do.
