- On a sunny day in April the ladies of Ham and Petersham WI threw a party at the Petersham village hall.Entry was by ticket for members and their guests only and the aim was to raise funds both for stem4 and SPEAR( a Richmond based charity for the homeless).The tea party was a huge success with 58 guests attending.
- I am delighted to say that 48 of the guests were fortunate enough to win lucky ticket prizes as well as enjoying a lovely tea party.
- As the ladies of the WI very generously covered all the costs of the event themselves this has meant funds raised exceeded £750 to be split between SPEAR and stem4. We are so grateful to Ham and Petersham WI for considering us in their fundraising and congratulate them on the success of their event.
