Gifts in Wills – Supporting a Resilient Younger Generation

A Will is a powerful way to care for your loved ones and ensure your values live on. By leaving a gift to stem4, you can help create a more resilient younger generation, where children and young people have access to the mental health support they need, whoever they are, wherever and whenever they need it.

How Your Legacy of Kindness Will Help

  • Give every child and young person the lifeline they deserve – ensuring they have access to vital mental health support.

  • Open the door to hope by expanding our award-winning mental health apps, empowering children and young people to take control of their well-being.

  • Equip schools and teachers with the tools to make a difference, providing life-changing training and digital resources to nurture student mental health.

  • Pioneer the future of mental health support, funding groundbreaking, evidence-based resources and technology to reach the young people who need it most.

As a small charity with a large reach, even a small gift can make a lasting difference.

Why Your Support Matters

stem4’s evidence-based digital mental health solutions are already making a big difference, supporting thousands of children and young people every single week. Many of them would otherwise be left with little or nothing else.

A gift in your Will ensures that we can continue to provide early intervention and prevention strategies that reduce anxiety, depression, self-harm, and eating disorders symptoms in over 90% of instances—empowering young people to build lifelong coping skills and boosting resilience.

How to Leave a Gift

  • Residuary Gift – A percentage of your estate, after other gifts and expenses are settled.

  •  Pecuniary Gift – A fixed sum of money.

  • Specific Gift – A particular item, such as property, shares, or valuables.

Every gift, no matter the size, helps ensure that no child or young person faces a mental health struggle alone.

We recommend speaking to a solicitor to ensure your Will reflects your wishes. Below is an example of wording you could use:

“I leave [X% of my estate / £X] to stem4 (Registered Charity Number: 1144506), of Connect House, 133-137 Alexandra Road, London SW19 7JY, for its general charitable purposes. I declare that the receipt of an authorised officer shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my executors.”
