Parent Mental Health Day with stem4
Parent Mental Health Day is held on 30th January.
Parent Mental Health Day (PMHD), founded by stem4 in 2022, is held each year on 30th January. The day was created to raise awareness of the vital link between parents’ and carers’ mental health and the wellbeing of the whole family.
While PMHD remains an important moment in the calendar, the challenges parents and carers face are year-round. That’s why this page is your hub for practical tools, expert advice, and support to help you look after your own mental health and support the young people in your care, every day of the year.

There are no doubt a number of challenges your children will face as they negotiate life. Helping them develop their resilience to navigate these challenges is an important task of parenting. Whilst resilience might be a trait in some, for the most part resilience is learnt.
