stem4 are proud to announce a new partnership with Good Thinking: a free, digital NHS service, supporting Londoners in looking after their mental health and wellbeing in a way that works for them. Since its launch in 2017, more than half a million people have used Good Thinking’s digital service to tackle anxiety, stress, low mood, sleep problems and other concerns. As part of their service, Good Thinking works with partners to identify the ‘best in class’ mobile health apps, and offers them to Londoners for free. In 2021, after two years of research and planning, this service was extended to offer apps and resources made specifically for young people.
With stem4’s leading portfolio of free mental health apps for young people having already supported over 2million users, Good Thinking have partnered with stem4 to add three of these apps to their platform for young people; the Combined Minds app – designed to help friends and family support a young person with their mental health; the Clear Fear app – designed to help young people manage their anxiety; and the Move Mood app – designed to help young people manage low mood and depression. Through the partnership, young Londoners can now easily access these stem4 apps via Good Thinking – giving them free, clinically developed tools to help them with their mental health.
Dr Richard Graham, Consultant Psychiatrist and Clinical Director of Good Thinking, said of the partnership with stem4; “We were honoured that stem4 have worked with us as we launched our service for young people… we are very much hoping that we can continue to collaborate with stem4 to meet further and emerging mental health needs, to improve the life chances of those with mental health difficulties at an early stage, reduce their suffering, but also improve their life chances and advance equalities”
