With 1 in 5 young people aged 8 to 16 having a probable mental health condition*, we need your support now more than ever.

Over the past year we have seen a drastic increase in the number of young people accessing our mental health resources. This Christmas, we expect record numbers:

  • Over 150,000 young people to use our free, clinically-informed apps
  • Over a quarter of a million views of our critical website resources
  • Tens of thousands of parents and carers requiring our support

As stem4 receives no government funding and all our services are provided in the UK for free, we need your support.

Can you help?

Would you consider making either a one-off donation or sign up as a regular donor this winter?

Tom’s* Story

stem4 has helped me to feel like a normal teenager again. Having struggled to get to school after a term of illness, I lost my confidence and motivation to catch up with schoolwork and was feeling panicked about my January exams and the effort I would have to make. I used the Move Mood app to help set myself some simple targets and followed my digital companion’s encouraging efforts every day to face my mood challenges. I also used the Clear Fear app to get myself back to school. I couldn’t have managed without these stem4 resources and will double up on their use this Christmas break.

Thank you from stem4 and wishing you and yours a Happy Festive Season!
