stem4 was thrilled to participate in Ideathon for the second year running this Winter. Ideathon, created by the Collaboration Company, is a unique leadership development programme that challenge and inspires leaders whilst allowing them to make a real difference by solving a live strategic challenge for the CEO of a leading charity. The event was attended by 12 leaders of well known corporations, three stem4 staff – Caroline Cox, Sarah Sterne and Liz Davies- and stem4 CEO Dr Nihara Krause.

During the two-day programme, the leaders focused their efforts on three criteria during to ensure their suggestions in solving the challenge would be helpful. Firstly, they aimed at generating proposals to allow the charity to continue to have a big impact. Secondly, they looked to ensure their suggestions were genuinely deliverable and realistic. Finally, they wanted the impact of their proposals to be worthwhile, both to the charity and to the different audiences the charity serve and help. With these goals in mind, the Ideathon produced a multitude of achievable, useful and inspiring ideas that will now be operationalised by the charity.

stem4 will meet with the group in three months to review progress and are very much looking forward to building strong relationships.
