Learn About Resilience

This module will give an understanding of resilience. Resilience is the ability to deal with the adversities or challenges young people face in life. Mental health and mental ill health lie on a ‘spectrum’, meaning that if on a line where one end is mental health and the other end is mental ill health, moving along the line can change wellbeing.

A number of factors can influence how someone can move along that line or spectrum for example, becoming too stressed might be a factor or lots of things going wrong. Learning to become more resilient can help keep a young person keep towards the mentally healthy end of the spectrum. This module will also provide some tips on how to improve resilience.
