Clear Fear Research Study – now closed
stem4 would like to test the Clear Fear app to find out if it helps reduce symptoms of anxiety.
We are inviting people aged between 16 and 21 years in the UK who experience mild to moderate anxiety and are not in touch with health services for any mental health problems to take part in the study.
What’s involved?
- Once we have made sure that you are able to take part, we will ask you to download the Clear Fear app onto your device and watch a video on how to use it.
- You’ll be given some brief online questionnaires to fill in at three different time points – when you first join the study, after you have learnt how to use the app, and after you have used the app for 2 months.
- Once you’ve had a chance to get to know the app, you’ll complete some very brief questionnaires about your health and be able to use the app when you want to.
- Only the researchers involved in the study will see your responses/information and this will be anonymised.
- You can withdraw from the study at any time.
- We offer a £20 Amazon voucher as a thank you for completing the study.
