- On the evening of Wednesday 26th September, three of the Tustees of STEM4 attended the Merton Business Awards, held at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, in Wimbledon. This prestigious event was attended by over 200 guests, representing a broad range of businesses and organisations based in Merton.
- STEM4 had been shortlisted as on of the six finalists in the Commitment to the Community category, sponsored by the Wimbledon Guardian. As a relatively new charity, hopes were not high for a win on this occasion, so the possibility of a commendation was deemed to be a worthy potential result.
- It was, therefore, with great pride that those present heard the announcement that STEM4 had been judged worthy winners of their category; the judges spoke warmly of their appreciation of our work and its importance in the local area.
- Dr Nihara Krause and Anne Martin accepted the trophy on behalf of STEM4.
