Dr Nihara Krause photo

Dr Nihara Krause, CEO & Chief Clinical Officer

Dr Nihara Krause is an award-winning Consultant Clinical Psychologist, with many years of clinical experience. Having worked as an NHS Consultant, she now runs her own private practice and is also a University lecturer.

Dr Krause has developed the MINDYOUR5 wellbeing programme adopted in a number of schools and the MERIT programme of excellence and is the clinical creator of Calm Harm, Clear Fear, Move Mood, Combined Minds and Head Ed.

In 2015 David Cameron presented her with the Point of Light Award for her work and in 2014 she received the Mayor of London’s Award for her commitment to the community. In 2019 Dr Krause was honoured to receive the British Citizen’s Award, health (BCAh) for her contribution to the health of children and young people in the UK.

Philippa Beeson, Education Coordinator/Safeguarding Lead

Philippa joined stem4 in September 2020. She is an Occupational Therapist by background who has spent 16 years working in the NHS. She realised her passion for charity work whilst chairing the PTA at the school where her children attend. As a mother of two, she is acutely aware of the need for mental health support for young people.

In her spare time, Philippa enjoys running and is passionate about music, establishing the Wimbledon Chase Parents Choir 3 years ago.

Rachel Edwards, Digital Insights Analyst

After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Management, Rachel joined the Digital team in September 2021 to help look after stem4’s digital resources. As Digital Insights Analyst, she helps to monitor and evaluate impact and performance.

Rachel is passionate about promoting accessible mental health support and reducing the stigma associated with mental health conditions and is thrilled to be able to act upon these values in her work at stem4. In her spare time, Rachel can probably be found reading or doing yoga.

Katie Donnell, Digital Lead

Katie joined stem4 in January 2016 and as Digital Lead looks after all things digital at stem4 including the websites, apps and digital marketing. Katie has a background in IT and is passionate about supporting young people and raising awareness of mental health issues.

Dr Richard Graham, Clinical Director

Dr Richard Graham is a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist and a former Clinical Director at the Tavistock Clinic. For the last five years, he was Clinical Director for Good Thinking: London’s Digital Mental Wellbeing Service.

He has worked extensively in digital health and e-safety for the last 12 years and is recognised as a digital health pioneer. He also established the first Technology Addiction Service for Young People in the UK in 2010 and contributed to the World Health Organisations consideration of Gaming Disorder as a medical diagnosis.

Since 2012, he has been very actively involved with the UK Council for Internet Safety (UKCIS—the British Government’s principal advisory body for online safety and security) and co-chairs its Digital Resilience Working Group. He also works with the BBC as Digital Well-being Consultant to the Own It App, as well as acting as an adviser to emerging companies such as TikTok and Yubo.

Geraldine Hellings, Finance Manager

After teaching for four years, Geraldine changed careers and joined Stoy Hayward as a trainee accountant. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992 and after several years in Central London moved to the Epsom office to run, what was then BDO Stoy Hayward’s, Small Business Department.

In 2002 Geraldine set up her own practice in Wimbledon where she has a portfolio of clients, primarily owner managed businesses operating across a variety of different business sectors.

In her spare time Geraldine is a keen runner and has completed many events including twelve marathons.

Rita Nagy, Project Manager

Rita joined the team as Administrator in October 2019. A natural multi-tasker and co-ordinator,  Rita is involved in all aspects of the running of stem4’s small but busy and bustling office. Rita has previously worked in the technology sector and is enthusiastic to see the effective and innovative use of stem4 Apps in helping young people with mental health issues.

Yvette Nieslony, Lead Technical Officer/Data Protection Lead

Yvette has 30 years experience in the IT industry managing a variety of development projects. She believes stem4 is a brilliant charity to be a part of so she offered her services to assist with managing the development of their website as a volunteer and has stayed ever since! Yvette has two teenage children who also love helping out at stem4 events.

Ollie Head, Business Development Manager

Ollie joined stem4 in 2023 to develop commercial opportunities and help establish the charity’s business arm. His experience across finance, public relations and business development help to provide reliable revenue streams to sustain stem4’s current and future initiatives.
Outside of work, Ollie is a keen sportsman with a particular love for football, cricket and cycling.

Zoe Peters, Senior Communications Coordinator

Zoe joined the team in July 2023 as the Senior Communications Coordinator. After graduating in 2019 from the University of Bristol, Zoe started freelancing in comms for a number of charities. Zoe then worked in a domestic abuse refuge, supporting vulnerable children. Her passion for supporting the mental health of young people and experience of working in communications makes her a great fit for the role! Zoe is also training part-time to become a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist.

In any remaining time she may have, Zoe enjoys running and completed her first marathon in October 2023.

Maisie Coulstock-Cockeram, Digital Coordinator

Maisie joined the team as Digital Coordinator in March 2023, and is excited to look after stem4’s websites and apps as part of the Digital team. At University, she studied Sociology, drawing on her passion for mental health support by organising a mentoring scheme for new students. Maisie is passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and coming up with new ways to make support more readily accessible to young people.

In her spare time, Maisie enjoys reading and video editing.
